Owner Occupier Finance is Now Live at MT Finance

October 19, 2026

As a lender committed to meeting the evolving needs of the market, we’re focused on delivering practical lending solutions for real-world businesses.

That’s why we’re excited to launch Owner Occupier Finance, the latest addition to our commercial offering range. This product enables brokers to support their business-owner clients who may be looking to purchase or refinance the premises they currently own or trade from and establish long-term value through property ownership.

Why ownership appeals

From renting to ownership: Many business owners who rent their premises eventually ask whether it would make more sense to own the property they operate from. Owner Occupier Finance gives brokers a clear way to help clients turn that question into a long-term growth strategy.

Raising capital for growth: Business owners planning to expand may also need to raise capital to support their growth. The product provides another route for brokers to help clients unlock funding through the property they own and occupy.

Ownership can provide greater control over the property, including how it is used, stability for the years ahead and the chance to build long-term value in an asset the business owns or occupies. Whether it’s a purchase or a refinance, this new product allows us to provide more flexibility to meet the specific needs of business owners which traditional lenders may not be able to accommodate.
